Let's meet Tucson's Mr.Smoothie champion for 2001.
"Chris" had an outstanding spring...turning in consistant
perfomances day in and day out, and really producing with the
game on the line. During the AZ- Mariners game, Chris stubbornly
refused to leave his seat during a heavy downpour...while other
sissies ran for cover. Only after the tarp was rolled out, and Eddie
the usher informed him that the game had been called, did this
true warrior reluctantly leave the ballpark...to repair to the bar.
Heroism such as this is the badge of honor worn by...Mr.
Smoothie.
